are like vampires, m.tournier said. that makes my large library bucharest blood bank central, and me, happy and willing lifetime donor. but, then, if you are a believer in the PoMo mucking about, we are forced to consider that the host-pest relationship is tenuous and decentered: who is to say i am not the vampire, and the poor books my breakfast du jour?Heroes
maybe.

About me:
..Tia Bang's Profile
Create Your Badge.. at one point, stoppard lists three things in 'travesties.' one was...you're either a revolutionary or you're not, and if you're not you might as well be an artist as anything else. secondly, if you can't be an artist, you might as well be a revolutionary. third is the most relevant, in my humble opinion, as the character confesses he has forgotten it.
but you remember the trojan war?
neither do i. it was before my time. i do, however, remember reading about it while i was supposed to be listening to my friend regale me with stories about his friend from MIT who counted cards, proper. now im told its been turned into a movie: '21.' so i watched the movie. it's about me, actually, this movie. except i didnt go to MIT and i didnt/dont count cards. & i didnt work at retail. never. ever. & i didnt/dont sleep with kate bosworth. important distinction. and yet professors and friends have emailed/texted me messages such as "go to sleep" and "eat something." compliments, obviously.
& i spend far too much money on rick owens, stephan schneider, demeulemeester, christopher kane, undercover, books, preen, c. poell, not working, balenciaga, eye-patches, CON, charles anastase, carpe diem, comme des garcons, and unlimited champagne brunches that end at 1pm the next day and...and i was/am a complete and utter geek. but a well-dressed geek. see? just like the movie.
