   Inertiacide's Blurbs
About me:
The identification of the subject “me” as a distinct and peculiar agency existing in a world in which information (namā) and experience (rūpa) are received from an otherness is the same thing as identifying ones hand as only two fingers. Personhood is rather a nebulous collectivity consisting of a ternary of universally applicable characteristics: subject, object and union. From S. H. Nasr, Knowledge and the Sacred, Chapter 1, note 1:
The Hindu expression Sat-Chit-Ānanda is one of the Names of God. Sat-Chit-Ānanda is usually translates as “Being-Conciousness-Bliss,” but the most “essential” translation—the one that makes most clear the metaphysical meaning of these terms—is “Object-Subject-Union” or “Beloved-Lover-Love.” This ternary also has an operative or spiritual meaning related to invocatory prayer, such as the Prayer of Jesus (Christianity), japa (Hinduism), and dhikr (Islam). Here it takes the form of “Invoked-Invoker-Invocation” (in Islamic terms madhkur-dhakir-dhikr)
From B. K. S. Iyengar, Light on Yoga, p. 22:
By profound meditation, the knower, the knowledge and the known become one. The seer, the sight and the seen have no separate existence from each other. It is like a great musician becoming one with his instrument and the music that comes from it. Then, the yogi stands in his own nature and realizes his self (Ātman), the part of the Supreme Soul within himself.
Nasr’s “invocatory prayer” and Iyengar’s “profound meditation” are theosophical emanations of the same practice of ultimate expression, which metaphysically speaking is the action of becoming one with the Absolute, this being the most perfect expression of selfhood.
Who I'd like to meet:
Lisa Gerard, Richard D. James, S. H. Nasr, B. K. S. Iyengar, Pentti Linkola, Reza Shah-Kazemi, Michael Oren Fitzgerald, John Zerzan.

Hey Shayne! I am really glad that you are moving back to Tri-cities and I am seriously pondering the "personal trainer" idea...if you know what I mean.
Your dad & I both need to get into to good shape & I am hoping that you will be willing to help us!

Ahh. Biosphere: not just good music (also known as The Earth).

I suppose it could technically refer to any planet, but that would be lower case "b" biosphere. Still, that's neither here nor there. Thanks for updating your blogs so frequently.
