I WANT CANDY!
Once upon a time there was a girl named Krystal
Corliss, who at 25 years old was "A Total Betty"
(Referece: Clueless, the 1995 comedy starring
Alicia Silverstone). Not only does she have a
phenomenally successful female empowering
clothing line, but she has also met Britney
Spears (pre- breakdown)! A fashion fanatic,
Krystal was intrigued with the habitual
complaints friends would make on shopping
excursions regarding the lack of attractive tank
tops available during New Hampshire's colder
months. Realizing New Hampshire's need for
comfortable couture, Krystal took it upon herself
to create cheeky tanks and hoodies that she knew
her friends would enjoy and wear.
Hundreds of compliments and 'Where did you get that?'s later,
Krystal took her swag to the streets! What
started out as a fun project to keep friends
entertained has turned nobodies into MySpace
royalty, and has given reality stars their extra
15 minutes of fame.
As Tasteless Candy Clothing enjoys a successful
third year of business, it prides itself on its
self confidence-inspired message and loyal
national fan base. Everyone who wears Tasteless
is encouraged to send pictures of themselves in
the clothing to Krystal so she can spotlight them
on her official Myspace Page.
Meanwhile, VH1 Rock of Love alums and MTV reality
vixens sport Tasteless across the site, which
helps to keep them relevant. The tanks and
hoodies offer sass inspired sayings that will
definitely direct all attention to you. Young
women gravitate to Krystal and Tasteless because
they want to feel as feisty, confident, and
fierce as her clothing. We were able to spend a
few minutes with Ms. TCC herself and these are
the fabulous results!
