Serena Finnick

About me:

My name is Serena, but most people call me Renie (pronounced Ree-knee, not Ren-ay). I'm currently a displaced Floridian residing in Lawton, Oklahoma. I'm originally from Jacksonville, Florida and I miss it like mad. I've been married to the love of my life, Rob, for the past 3 1/2 years. We have two German shepherds; Ty and Annie, and two cats; Layla and Kylie. We also have a collection of miscellaneous fish and a pet octopus named Boo. We have no children of the human variety, but plan to work on that in the near future.
I don't know that there's really that much to say about me. I love music, movies, books, graphic design, and mythology, among other things. My husband is my best friend in the whole world. I love Tomb Raider like a fat kid loves cake. I have a slight addiction to chocolate. Those who don't know me think I'm quiet, and those who do know me wish I was. I believe that no one should suffer from a broken heart. I hate doing dishes, and love the smell of fresh laundry. I love my niece and nephew as if they were my own. I love having a big family, and wouldn't have it any other way. I have my dad's sense of humor, and my mom's kind heart. I love collecting photos. I'm not a fan of smokers, and I don't drink very often. I'm not easily offended, and I cuss like a sailor. I only like drama if it's on TV. I believe that a marriage can last forever. I'm not a very judgemental or jealous person. I love to laugh, and generally crack jokes that are only funny to me (this is where my dad's sense of humor comes in to play). I love all animals, though I'm not too fond of reptiles, I believe they should all be loved and not abused by their owners. Camels scare the shit out of me. I'm pretty hard to get out of my shell, but I'm told I'm pretty cool once I come out. I'm a proud Southern girl, but I'm not a redneck. My taste is pretty eccentric, I'll give almost anything a fair shake. I support our troops 110%. I'm the proud wife of a United States Army MP. My favorite authors are Tami Hoag and Lisa Jackson. I love techno music. I think my memory foam mattress kicks much ass, and will do anything for my friends.
