Simon Baker Resident Advisor Podcast

Infant Records will be delivering the finest, underground electronic house and techno music for dark sweaty underground clubs, and fashionable European terraces.

Infant Records was born in Leeds 2005 and was the brainchild of local lad Simon Baker. It is a sub label of Ralph Lawson's mighty 20:20 Vision. Although related to 20:20, Infant Records has it's very own distinct, forward thinking flavour. Simon is a long standing DJ and producer himself and has a wealth of background and understanding about quality underground electronic music.

Simon scored his first hit in 2004 with his debut recording, released under his 'Liptrick' alias, which found it's way into the bags, and compilations of Tiefschwarz, Damian Lazarus, and Dan Ghenacia amongst others, and was signed to Ralph Lawson’s highly respected 2020 Vision label as part of an album deal.

It was only fitting that Simon himself released the first 12" and he provided a superb 4 track EP (Footsteps EP) of varied, hypnotic, driving, electronic funk that will appeal to fans of Get Physical Music, Simple Records etc. Since then, we have unleashed the excellent Julian Sanza - Interference EP, the infectious 'Aerosol Games' complete with Paul Woolford remix. Also fantastic releases from Burnski of Trapez fame, Anthony Collins , Ilija Rudman, and more from Simon Baker. Remixes come in the form of Boogie Drama and an exclusive from Sian (Pokerflat), Rekliener (Connaissuer), and Jamie Jones (Crosstown Rebels) also on their way.
