Infernal Scourge is a musical project by me Malek Arthas Hijazi. Born on Oct. 18, 1986, of American Nationality from the state of New York. Currently, due to work related purposes I'm based in Bahrain as a foreign employee. Unfortunately support is very limited to the dark genre's of music here. I will be welcomingly happy to travel to wherever for an opportunity of a good record label deal. Europe, or America. I love traveling, especially to the continent Europe. At the beginning of Infernal Scourge (2004) my style was neoclassical and it gradually shifted to the current melodic black metal. Was influenced by Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart, and Children of Bodom at that time. My lyrics are influenced by classic especially epic literature. I can say it is heavy poetry. Topics range from anything sinful and offensive to religious morals, to war and love. (You can probably see why I don't get much support in Bahrain). Dark themes and landscapes, and eroticism go hand in hand with me. Of course women have always been an inspiration; now, than, and forever. New songs in recording progress which are big improvements to the current posted. One stand out song is 'The Queen of Autumn. To all fans and those that appreciate my dark art I will love you always from the bottom of my black war heart. I need all your support so I will and continue to produce honest quality tracks. I'll spill my blood on my art for you. My music is directed to Europeans and American metal lovers, but still embrace any open individuals

"Infernal Scourge is the work of Malek Arthas Hijazi. The style is Symphonic
Black Metal with mid to fast paced more traditional B.M guitar interludes and
sections of keyboard and piano. The songs are well thought out and well put
together pieces, more than ably performed. Good changes of pace and the variance
between Black Metal and dark classical holds the listeners interest. The guitars
give an, at times, brutal feel offset by majestic keyboards which range from
light and airy to darkly melodramatic and haunting. All this is layered over
with vocals which cover traditional B.M style, tortured shrieks and almost
operatic clean singing.
'Secret sinful love', 'The wrath of God and grace of Babylon' and 'Red masked
phantom' are the most Black Metal influenced songs from the Infernal Scourge
page. 'The frozen 25th hour' is a sweeping classical instrumental piece and
there is a guitar based cover of Mozarts 'Ronda alla Turka'.
If this review brings to mind the likes of Cradle of Filth then think again.
There is a darker atmosphere and a little more substance to Infernal Scourge."
