Infernal Nightmare formed in summer 2007 thanks to the work of the frontman (Andre), who decided to remedy the failure of a heavy metal project of a band by offering as a singer to replace the previous one. Although the boys liked different kinds of music they started to work hard on a heavy metal project strictly based on the model of Manowar. Then they began to create a repertoire of covers to start with, and had small live shows. After the drummer's (Teo) arrival, the group personalized covers with more involving riff and using scream (the favourite singer's technique). This meant a change in the music genre, which drove them to play songs of predominantly thrash artists such as Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth. It was in winter 2008 that the band, tired of playing songs from other artists, (even if personalized) began to write own songs by taking inspiration from their favourite artists. Although every member of the band has different tastes regarding both style and music, it seems that the project is progressing very well, making this the true strength of the band, which plays a somewhat innovative and peculiar genre.

Gli Infernal Nightmare nascono nell'estate 2007 per opera del frontman Andre, il quale decide insieme al chitarrista Nibbio di rimediare al fallimento di un progetto heavy metal portato avanti da alcuni amici offrendosi come cantante in sostituzione del precedente. I ragazzi, nonostante prediligessero generi musicali differenti, si impegnano a lavorare ad un progetto heavy basandosi strettamente sul modello dei Manowar. Iniziano quindi a creare un repertorio di cover per muovere i primi passi e tenere piccoli spettacoli dal vivo. Sollecitato dall'arrivo del batterista Teo e del miglior amico del frontman Ste, il gruppo personalizza le cover con riff più coinvolgenti e accompagnando alla clean voice parti in scream e growl, portando quindi ad un cambiamento di genere musicale che li ha spinti a riprodurre brani di artisti prevalentemente thrash metal quali Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth. In seguito all'inserimento di Michele, musicista influenzato parecchio dal sound di band come Opeth e Dream Theater, vengono aggiunti nel sound del gruppo parti di assoli di chitarra e riff molto più complessi. E' con l'inverno del 2008 che la band, stanca di riprodurre brani di altri artisti, sebbene personalizzati, inizia con la stesura di propri pezzi attingendo ognuno dai propri musicisti preferiti.
Durante l'inverno del 2008 Teo viene allontanato definitivamente dalla band e sostituito dal talentuoso Ettore, il quale promette di garantire migliori prestazioni durante i concerti e maggiore impegno nella composizione rispetto al batterista precedente.
E' a marzo del 2009 che gli Infernal Nightmare entrano per la prima volta in studio e registrano alcune tracce (tra le quali Demon Inside) destinate poi ad essere pubblicate nel primo EP.
Nonostante ogni componente presenti gusti differenti sia per quanto riguarda lo stile, sia per quanto riguarda la musica, sembra che il progetto stia procedendo molto bene, rendendo questa situazione il vero punto di forza della band, tanto da portarla alla riproduzione di un genere piuttosto innovativo e particolare
