"The King Crimson Of Indie Rock!" - Chris Poland (OHM/ex. Megadeth)
"Musically aggressive, the guitars crunch, the vocals pushed past their limit making for a combination of true heart and conviction. Infidels Forever plays music as if their lives depended on it. These Norwegians are in touch with their emotions but you wouldn't call it emo. It's got a rough edged, hardcore heart wrapped in a fragile shell. How's that? Great production and steady tempos make this disc all the more exciting. These guys being around for a long time if they keep this up!" - Independents Only
Few bands cite both black metal savages Darkthrone and sad-eyed emo precursors Sebadoh as influences, but the topsy-turvy rock troupe Infidels Forever does hail from Norway, a country of extremes.
Norwegian metal bands have been known to set churches on fire and kill rival band members, and the members of the country's finest rock 'n' roll export, the terminally nutty Turbonegro, like to dress up as sailors from time to time.
And so perhaps Infidels Forever's eclectic tastes aren't that outlandish after all, especially because they congeal into a pretty potent mix of gruff melodies, spidery yet muscular guitars and hooks as big as this bunch's record collection."
- Las Vegas Review Journal
"This is the type of band that is just too good for little Norway, meaning that had they been from the States, they would have been in the record collection of hundreds of thousands already. This is glittering indie rock with beautiful vocal harmonies, an intense drive and innovative guitar riffs. - Storås Festival Magazine
"Open Channel EP contains five tracks of the most promising indie rock weve heard in Norway in a long time. During twenty minutes you are pulled into a vortex of melodies with such a presence and power that it can hardly be described with words.." - Mute Magazine
"Infidels Forever stands out as one of the few bands who manages to bring the Norwegian indie scene up to the level it should be." - Groove.no
