About me:

THE LEGENDARY ICON HOUSE OF INFINITI Founded in New York City, August 1990, By Father Ross Infiniti & Mother Bangie Angie Infiniti (RIP) The House of Infiniti is a group of individuals who come from all sorts of different cultural backgrounds and, who represent Pride, Diversity, and most of all Love & Respect! The House of Infiniti presents runway modeling like scenes from fashion shows within the GLBTQ Community incorporating awareness. Please Refer to; Paris Is Burning" which is a 1990 documentary film directed by Jennie Livingston. Filmed in the mid-to-late 1980's, it chronicles the ball culture of New York City ... "How do I look?"Amazon.com: documentary film directed by Wolfgang Busch, Founding Father Ross Infiniti & Mother Angie Infiniti, Pepper Labeija, Octavia St. Laurent, Jose & Carmen Xtravaganza, Willi Ninja, Kevin Omni, Luna Khan, Kevin Aviance ... www.amazon.com/How-Do-Look-Wolfgang-Busch/dp/B000WPFAKI - 228k - Several times a month, predominantly black/latino gay social groups (called houses) get together at events where they compete in a variety of different categories. The house that is hosting the event presents the theme and categories while circulating information, well in advance. The point of promoting ahead of time is so that people can be prepared. At the event, houses submit a variety of contestants for a chance of recognition in form of trophies, cash prizes, of the year awards, hall of fame achievements and social status.. A banquet hall is set up with chairs and tables on both sides, leaving a ”runway" whether raised or at floor level that leads up to the judges table in front. The Disc jockey is in place with all the right music, old and new, to create various moods needed throughout the event. The master of ceremonies known as a commentator then applies his talent and experience to control the program flow, while creatively entertaining the audience. Utilizing different original chants that most of the times are created by the actual mc host presenting. It all begins with red carpet introductions which we call "Legends, Statements and Stars”, focusing on the most popular members of the different houses. To date there has been over three hundred created nationally; sometimes a new house or individual will make a debut, or even change membership for shock value. Following that is an opportunity for the house that’s hosting to do a special presentation called the Grand House march, which includes the house members that are present as a whole from the newest to most experienced members of seniority and status. The final introductions once the Grand House march is completed are the selection of judges sometimes there’s even two sets of judges per half, depending on how many categories there are. Most “Balls” have somewhere between 20-30 categories. As the program progresses, winners are awarded trophies as previously mentioned and as the evening finishes with a Grand Prize category, including the opportunity to receive cash and a trophy awards. This is what it means to have a "Ball" and “Get Your Life”, this tradition that has continued to flourish and develop since the early 1900s. www.myspace.com/infinitimiami The House of Infiniti volunteer's and works with community outreach agencies': Health Crisis Network Care Resource, White Party & AIDS Walk NYC Gay Pride Miami Beach, San Fran & Los Angeles Gay Pride evets South Beach AIDS Project Creating Change Conference National Gay & Lesbian Task Force & Winter Party events Pridelines Youth Services & Other GLBT Centers in the U.S. Borinquen Health Care Center Miami Connections/Boys 2 Boys House of Latex Balls in New York City House of Infiniti chapters are found in New York City, Miami, Orlando, Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Detroit, North Carolina, South Carolina, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Ohio, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, etc...
