About Influence

Influence got into music at a young age, playing the drums. He then moved to DJing, age 16, and developed an interest in Drum & Bass due to its futuristic sound. This interest developed into a love for creating new sounds. Now with a few years production experience behind him, Influence strives to sculpt noise into a combination of aggressive, yet fascinating melodies. This constant drive for originality means his knowledge of sound and how to manipulate it is growing day by day. Influence currently hosts a show every Sunday from 5pm, until 6pm (GMT) on www.protokolrtadio.com showcasing the most technical orientated music within the Drum & Bass scene.

He had contact with electronic music since he was a small kid,listening to techno, breaks, hardcore, always being a fan of more agressive styles. He started listening to drum and bass from pure pleasure, but after that, things got to be a little more serious, and he eventually got to be one of the local promoters of this music genre. And so he started playing music and organising events in his birthtown. During time he got to play music with different well known producers, such as Panacea, Masheen, Solarcube, Mystification, Digital soul, Kigami and so on. He started producing drum and bass with his crew partner, Proton Kid. Everything started from a long conversation that has shown the fact that both have the same interests in music. And so, PK asked him if he wants to make a collab,and so he started his musical productions. His first track, "Noir Addict" was singed at a free net label: Darkland, and after that, different labels had shown interest in his music. Eventhough his first tracks tended to be a little more dark, in time, his tunes started having a techno, neuro sound, influenced by the large number of producers that he listens to with a lot of pleasure. Right now, he has signed tracks with labels like Sochopatix,Wayside, Ammunition and Order in Kaos. He also is a member of Kriotek Crew, being one of the founders of the group. click HERE to buy!

I think in order to continue the evolution, more collabs will be necessary. I really hope you get to collaborate with some other ground-breaking artist such as Spor, Noisia, Phace, or the maximal styling of Xanopticon.
