mainly through our ears and the trust in artists which have an idea of themselfs and an open minded attitude in their musical activity and general life. Things need to have a certain quality in content and production. Mo matter if the style is more classical or abstract in their respective genre...and -of course- our personal taste.

INFRACom! was founded by Name Leonhard-Vaughn(†) and Jan Hagenkötter in 1992. In the last decade INFRACom! has released over 100 records. At home in Frankfurt am Main, the financial capital and skyscraper city of Germany, Namé Leonhard Vaughn and Jan Hagenkötter started their mutual relationship as a soundsystem in late eighties and beginning of the nineties, way before Berlin discovered the art of raving.
Frankfurt at that time was very musically eclectic. You’d meet the same crew of people whether you were at a techno, hip-hop, or reggae party exactly the right soil to found a label that was open-minded in spirit and taste. A label dedicated to the artist and not to one musical style. Staying true to this vision these two guys have contributed greatly to the forging of a scene that crosses all borders musically, geographically and racially.

Kaleta & Akoya Afrobeat The Spirit Of Fela Is Alive & Well Mukatsuku Records 4/5 An explosive slice of Afrobeat from Kaleta gets the licensing thumbs up from Mukatsuku, who finally get this gem to the Fela faithful. Originally clocking in at over 14 minutes, its been chopped virtually in half to add more punch and immediacy, whilst on the flip Guynamite and label boss Nik Weston add a more contemporary boogie house twist to the original, in doing so losing none of the vitality or the 'Fela' essence.
Matthias Vogt Trio Coming Up For Air (INFRACom!/Groove Attack)
