I like everything ... except the stuff I don't. I am, however, an obsessed show tunes freak and am known to break out into random songs at any given moment ... be warned.
Movies
I have a large collection of DVDs ranging from Star Wars to Mormon Classics. My tastes are super random. As a rule, I only watch movies that make me cry once (no matter how much I love it). I stay away from action films (even though I usually like them, despite myself). Movies I can watch over and over: While You Were Sleeping, You've Got Mail, Spaceballs, Airplane, The Naked Gun ... and about a gazillion others. No matter what anyone says, I think Brain Donors is one of the best movies ever. Mulholland Drive is also one of my faves.
Television
I am a certified TV-a-holic. My favorite shows include: Six Feet Under, Friends, Sex & the City, The Sopranos, Buffy, Xena, Seinfeld, and a bunch of others. My guilty pleasures include: South of Nowhere and America's Next Top Model. Shows I hate but watch anyway: The L Word.
Books
Anything by Kim Harrison, Sarah Waters, and Caitlin R. Kiernan. Others: The Color Purple by Alice Walker, The Hours by Michael Cunningham, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, Beloved by Toni Morrison, The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver, The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri, You Remind Me of Me by Dan Chaon, and a billion others. I love books.

I'm a little writer with big ambitions. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, I have lived in exotic places like Cooper City, Florida and New Brunswick, New Jersey. In the midst of my 25th year on Earth, I embarked on a journey across seas to Lyon, France, where I intend to take over the world from my Top Secret Lair of Doom master the French language.
I work as a blogger for b5media.com, writing at Play Girlz a blog about gaming from a female perspective, as well as Grey's Anatomy News, which I think is pretty self-explanatory. I've also done some blogging for AfterEllen. Mostly, I do a lot of procrastinating.
When I'm not writing blogs, I write fiction (novels, short stories), which you can find at Midnight Island. My first novel, Alix & Valerie is now published by Bedazzled Ink.
