About me:

[IN]Head-Kay grew up in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, to a family who appreciated and nurtred music. At a very early age, [IN]Head-Kay got exposed to various styles of music, ranging from classical symphonies to deep oriental sounds. As many of his age group, [IN]Head-Kay played the guitar for many years and his main musical love was rock and later on old skool hip-hop. He first started mixing at the age of 17 when he converted his room stereo into his studio by connecting a pitch control to his CD player and started beatmatching similar tracks. [IN]Head-Kay then moved digitally in 2006 and started experimenting software mixing with various programs, mainly Atomix at the time. As the software world progressed he shifted onto better and more professional programs such as Ableton Live, MixMeister and Virtual DJ. He has also recently entered the world of production and is currently working on an album which he hopes to finish by next summer. [IN]Head's musical influences have been many, but he always has a special place in his heart for amazing DJs such as John Digweed, Carl Cox and Pete Tong, and has his musical style deeply rooted into the House (Dark, Progressive, Minimal, Tribal) genre. He always stresses that his music is one to dance to no matter what it is, therefore he always ranks himself among 'Dance Music' DJs and not House Music. He is quoted saying : "Some of the producers I have grown to admire are : Trentmoller, Robert Babicz, Sven Vath, Adam Beyer, Juan Atkins." 2007/2008 were huge years in his career. Gigs starting comming in very rapidly, as he gained a considerable fanbase in his country. His friendship with big names in the business helped him take his skills to the next level, and with a hotly anticipated production projects well underway, the sky is the limit!
