MySpace a place for friends

In His Wakes seeks to introduce people world-wide to the life changing power of Jesus Christ through the avenue of water sports. In His Wakes was founded by world record holder water skier Kristi Overton Johnson in 2003, who through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, became burdened for the water sports community to experience God's love, His grace, and a purpose-filled life that only a relationship with Him can provide. Kristi also became burdened to share the experiences of water skiing with individuals who would not in their ordinary lives have the opportunity to take to the water. As a professional water skier, Kristi knew first hand the physical and emotional benefits water skiing provides and she desired to create opportunities for the lives of thousands to be impacted by this amazing sport. In order to fulfill her desire to share verbally and show physically the love of Christ, as well as expose people to the impacting sport of water skiing, Kristi incorporated In His Wakes as a Florida based non-profit organization. Programs were implemented to fulfill the mission of In His Wakes, to introduce people world-wide to the life changing power of Jesus Christ through the avenue of water sports.
