Inhumanity was formed in the summer of 1993 by Vocalist/Bassist Chris Lytle. Together with Guitarists, Anthony Divigenze and Mark "Skippy" Shevlan and Drummer Dave Wright, they were determined to concur the Death Metal scene. They released one demo entitled, "Rotting in Waste" in 1994 shortly after which Chris Lytle left to join Philadelphia Black/Death metal band, Insatanity.
In 2008, Lytle decided to reformed Inhumanity and enlisted, fellow Insatanity bandmates, Dave Spencer, Armen Koroghlian, and, Ex-Sapremia/Mortal Decay guitarist, Brian Valenti. After a few months, Ex-Insatanity guitarist, Dan Roberts stepped in to fill the vacated spot left by Valenti's departure.
While writing new material with Roberts, it was aparent that the music was moving in a new direction. Being concerned that this new style was not the direction the band wanted to go, the band decided to develop a new project, Protogenoi, with Roberts and this new material and continue Inhumanity as it was intended.
As this time Armen left the band and new drummer, Ex-With Immortality, John Dreisbach along with, fellow Insatanity guitarist, Ed Drozdowsky joined the fold.
As in 1993, Inhumanity is still inspired by the desire to conquer the underground. Look for a new Album and the Re-recorded "Rotting in Watse" demo.
