INIMA came up in 2001, with the proposal of bringing together several musical elements in only one, creating an own style.
Uniting the velocity of the 80’s metal with the heavy of the 90’s metal, pinches of electronic music , “tribal” beats and vocal which range from the melodic to aggressive, the band is conquering its spot in the Brazilian underground scene, having already performed in different festivals in São Paulo state as well as in other sites throughout the whole country.
With the release of the single “Synth 3.0” at the beginning of 2002, the Band, which was formed in the town of São José dos Campos is gathering acknowledgement inside and outside the land, showing up in many specialized media.
Having released one more single in 2003, auto-entitled after the very name “INIMA”, the band released its first official album in October ’04.
A complete album, where the band pours out all its strength, pluck and conviction expressed as vanguard metal.
INIMA prepares now to release its next album, which is already being composed, and the band intends to show some innovatory stuff, not letting aside its roots at all.
The CD must be released in the beginning of 2008. The band, always achieving a serious and professional work and with pluck and modesty, deals with the meanings of its own name: Heart and Limit.
Limit of heavy, limit of aggressiveness, limit of reality.

O INIMA surgiu em 2001, com o ideal de agrupar vários elementos musicais em um só, formando um estilo próprio.
Unindo a velocidade do metal dos anos 80 com o peso do metal dos anos 90, pitadas eletrônicas, batidas “tribais”, e vocais que vão do melódico ao agressivo, a banda vem conquistando o seu espaço no underground brasileiro, já tendo figurado em diversos festivais no estado de São Paulo e em outras partes do país.
Com o lançamento do single "Synth 3.0" no início de 2002, a banda de São José dos Campos vem conquistando reconhecimento nacional e internacional, aparecendo em vários veículos da mídia especializada.
Tendo lançado mais um single em 2003, auto-intitulado.
O INIMA lançou seu primeiro álbum oficial em outubro de 2004.
Um álbum completo, com 11 músicas onde a banda despeja toda sua força, garra e convicção expressas em forma de metal de vanguarda.
O INIMA agora se prepara para lançar seu próximo álbum, que já se encontra em fase de composição, onde a banda pretende mostrar um material inovador, mas sem deixar de lado suas raízes. O novo cd da banda deve ser lançado no inicio de 2008.
Sempre executando um trabalho sério e profissional, com muita garra e humildade, a banda trabalha como os próprios significados do seu nome: Coração e Limite. Limite do peso, limite da agressividade, limite da realidade.
