| General | I began my tattoo apprenticeship in October of 1999 at Captain's Cabin (now Captain's Custom Tattoo) in Charlotte, NY. I studied under Shadow, a most generous and gifted teacher.
In 2001 I was hired by Chris Pound and began working at Go Ask Alice in Brockport, NY. On most days our shop resounds with quick wit, smart-assed comments and loving insults... customers incuded. Go Ask Alice is a great place to hang out, get some ink and partake in whatever goofy conversation we have going that day.
In June 2008 I move to White Tiger... Looking forward to a long and fruitful experience with the very talented artists there.
I specialize in custom work and full color tattoos. Even a standard flash design picked off the walls will often be modified a little so my clients get a more unique and personal tattoo. | | Music | I have been making art my whole life... not just because I like to, but because I HAVE to. It is who I am. I've dabbled in many mediums, styles and subject matters.
I believe colored pencil would be my medium of choice, but I am developing a deep fondness for oil paints at the moment.
I like to do very colorful pieces combining elements that don't normally go together - tentacled flowers, seahorse girls, lizards with butterfly wings, you get the picture.
I know most artists are supposed to have a "point" or "meaning" to their work, but I don't have anything deep or significant I need to say. About me:
I'm a tattoo artist, draw and/or paint all the time, am highly addicted to coffee, can make killer lasagna and have a large stuffed sperm on my bed.

Who I'd like to meet:
The Skull Girls began about a year ago when my boss, Chris, asked me to draw him a female grim reaper. I had enough fun drawing her that a few weeks later watching someone get a female jester tattooed that I thought "I should draw a skeleton version". Then an egyptian for my earthly Isis, Sylvia, the indian for Jenn, the pirate for Bill, the java girl for the local coffee shop Java Juntion, the Buffalo Sabres for Doug and others just because I thought they'd be cool.
I've also done a Skull Girl themed deck of playing cards which I'm hoping to get printed in the near future.

Ooooooo, that sucks! We ALMOST had to do that when we replaced our washer and dryer. They JUST fit! I never thought to actually measure the space, like I did when we replaced our fridge. LOL
