The Ink City band is formed by the vocalist Lena Metchta and the bassist Kult in December 2005. Carried by the desire to create a powerful and accessible music, they are immediately joined by Stephane Nikolic on drums, then by Sham Makdessi on guitar. After a 1,5 year of existence the band records its first album with Francis Caste at the Studio Sainte Marthe, and the 5-tracks Ink City EP is released in November 2007. After Sham's departure, a new guitarist Sy aka Mr S joins Ink City. The band signs with the label Brennus for the release of the album Human Rock School in September 2008.
