Welcome to The Vanitorium. We are the Official Street Team/Fan Club for the Helsinki based band Vanity Ink and I am your guide in these halls of mayhem and music. Here you will get a first hand look at all your Vanity Ink essentials and will have opportunities to help spread the mayhem yourself.
The Inkers are not on this site themselves on a regular basis but they will drop in from time to time so feel free to leave comments, fan art, photos of you with the Inkers and anything else you feel might pertain.
Vanity Ink were founded in 2002 and has so far released two EPs (...roadkills!, 2004 and Vanity is a Full-time Job, 2005) and two full-length albums (On Your Skin, 2007 and MORE SENSELESS RANDOM BEHAVIOUR!, March 2009)
They signed a deal with Swedish record label Swedmetal Records and will be releasing MORE SENSELESS RANDOM BEHAVIOUR on this label in October 2009 but sadly Swedmetal went under recently.
The Inkers were born and raised with rock'n'roll records and they sold their souls already at their early ages. Many years in this business guarantee the professionalism but their wicked sense of humour and togetherness keeps them yahoo enough.
Rounding of this great rock and roll party sound are:
Annabella with her strong pure voice and dirty grrl good looks,
Miki Peltola who plays hard driven bass lines with an enthusiasm not seen onstage much anymore,
Juha Bandit who shreds on the guitar,
Jussi not to be outshined has some wicked guitar licks all his own,
Sam Junni keeps the beat with great, fast paced, all or nothing drumming. In a day and age when singers have replaced frontmen/women and you pay to see a band stand and sing/play Vanity Ink gives you an intense experience that harkens back to the more carefree days of the 80's and early 90's.
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone any everyone that is a fan of Vanity Ink and likes a good time, great music and beleives life is nothing but a party so why not enjoy it while you can!
Anyone that wants to take an active part in helping spread the music and mayhem that the Inkers preach!
