The production/DJ Inkfish sprang to life in 1998, when the four Swedish
mates Mattias Lindblom, Jesper Lindquist, Andreas Hermansson and Johan
Hermansson joined forces. Dishing out a variety of electronic music over the
last ten years, the quartet has established themselves firmly within the scene.
Together with David West they also have been recording as De Nada, Synergy &
Pharmacy of Sound. Inkfish has done dj-mixes for BBC Radio One and loads of
stations world wide and are playing all over the world. The boys are also
residents for Renaissances parties in Olso, Norway. Getting remixed by artists like
Taking care of business behind the turntables you..ll find the two brothers
Johan and Andreas. They provide a soundtrack of groovy progressive tracks with
elements of tribal and tech. They are well known to rock the dance floors
wherever they appear. Their reputation has so far taken them to over 30
countries worldwide.
With 70 releases you will find loads of big tracks and remixes by artists like D Ramirez, Steve Angello, Sebastian Leger & David West.
Recent works include the Inkfish remix of Nils Noa - Monkey Break and Hello Piano both reaching the top 10 on Beatports main chart. During the last month they had several tracks in top 20 on beatports main charts. They run their own Sumplus & Tolerant-labels, which is co-runned with Martin H and David West and had artists on their labels such as Chus, Kosmas Epsilon, Cid Inc( Mashtronic), Style of eye and many more. Being around since 1998 there is no doubt that Inkfish is a heavyweight in the underground clubscene.
It's our honour to introduce you a new Brasilian dance music label started in April 2009 by Marcelo Domancich (Bitch Bros/Vezotonik/Reldz). Now with partners Sybel (Bitch Bros/URBR, Stripped, AZRA, Abnormal Behavior) and Quadrini(Influential) owner of Hi-Tech FM. While nowadays it often seems like all the Psy Trance labels either reduce the speed of their releases and turn to more and more body-orientated club sounds or crank up the tempo of their music to rather hectic levels, Solar Tech Records delivers an excellent selection of tunes that keeps the golden mean: With tracks between 142 and 145 BPM the music is powerful, driving and very psychedelic on the one hand but also progressive in the original meaning of the word and does not get stressful or kitschy at any point.
