2 cats who love hip hop culture. IMG consists of Inkog & Mr. Gone. Inkog is the voice/lyricist and Gone is the producer/musician. Inkog & Gone met at Albany Open Mics in 2001 and have been partners in crime ever since.
Inkog, a Jamerican living in Albany, NY, has been writing rhymes and poems for years as well as painting and drawing. He puts his heart, soul and experiences into his lyrics, as well as themes of social commentary and protest. Inkog also does all of the group's artwork.
Born in Argentina, Gone has been in the Albany area since moving up from NYC. He has been writing poetry and messing with music for years. His music is very personal, making it the perfect match for Inkog's lyrics.
The duo have an LP titled "Unrest" coming out in 2007. Expect an eclectic but cohesive project. Inkog and Gone are just out to make some honest music reminiscent of the days when image didn't matter and skills were important.
Everything is good with me, just taking everyday one step at a time. I'm trying to rest, but I'm always on the good. I hope your sunday is restful for you.
