With their beautifully sculpted songs and their barnstorming live performances, INLIGHT have been hailed as “impressive” by NME. The Oxford band’s highly orchestrated sound and devotion to songwriting craft, pulling together a heritage that ranges from The Beatles through Pink Floyd to U2, is perfectly showcased on their Postcards EP, which featured hand-drawn covers for each individual pressing. INLIGHT’s intricately crafted, sweeping live sets have earned them support slots for The Holloways, The Envy Corps, Baskery and Alphabeat, as well as a place in the Intel Unsigned Final in 2008. The use of the soaring “Bridges” in the Phillip Pullman film “The Butterfly Tattoo,” looks set to secure an ever-widening audience for the band, whilst arena-filling anthems like Icarus and Disappear mean that their breakthrough moment is a matter of when not if.
