    .... In Memory Of was conceived in 2005 shortly after the death of a bandmate and comrade in music, a tribute to the late Eric Canlas a guitarist of a local band Orange Juice who untimely died of a congenital heart ailment. His death inspired the creation of the band, and every show played is dedicated to his memory. The members had been jamming together before and come from different bands, having been with the Bacolod/Iloilo City music scene for more than a decade. .... In 2006 the band joined the Red Horse Muziklaban, and won it's way to the national finals sweeping all the awards except grand champion. .... A year later, In Memory Of joined Channel [V]'s Big Break contest and finished 2nd place in the entire Asia. .... In Memory Of is currently recording at their private home studio to release a full length CD sometime this year.. ....
