| General | KIDS PLACE GARDEN CLUB
The children at Kids Place learn about plants and nature, gardening skills and the unending responsibility of taking care of something. They watch their labors turn into the miracle of life. The children learn that sowing seeds, caring and nurturing for their plants, trees or flowers, they are not only making the world a more beautiful place, but they are learning valuable life lessons. Gardening grounds us, teaches us stability, spirituality and getting dirty can be fun too! The children learn that if they plant a fruit tree, when it bears fruit they can share that with others or sell the fruit to make money. They also learn that by using their skills they can never go hungry.
| | Music | KIDS PLACE PENNIES FROM HEAVEN It should be no surprise that inner city kids are more at risk and susceptible to violent crime. This is why we have "Pennies from Heaven program." Please save your pennies and bring them in or ship them to us. We roll them and use the money for indigent families who have lost a child either by violence or natural causes. Many of the families in this part of town (South Phoenix) cannot afford to give their children proper burials. Remember that children are special to God and that by helping the families in such a time, you are helping God. So please bring your coins, loose change and pennies to Kids Place. May God Bless You
| | Movies | KIDS PLACE BLOCK WATCH PROGRAM The Kids Can Do It Block Watch Program is a community project founded in 1993 under the umbrella of the Kids' Place Safe house summer and after school program which began in 1989. Kids Place is under the umbrella of the Arizona Black United Fund Inc. (ABUF). ABUF The Kids Can Do It Block Watch Program (KCDIBW) teaches self respect and independence to at risk minority children by showing them that they are a valuable resource for the community through the four basic rules of the program Block Watch

Ephesians 5:1 - Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; Daily scriptures here Kids Church was founded under the umbrella of Kids' Place Safe house on July 11, 1999. The purpose of Kids Church is to introduce, teach, and guide children to a spiritual world and how to use spirituality to make their lives better for themselves then for their community. It is Carolyn's vision to have a church just for children and ran by children with songs, praise & Music. That is a glorious vision! Kids Place is a non-profit safe refuge for Inner City Children of South Phoenix. Won't you help Ms. Lowrey? She is an Inner City Angel providing a safe haven for kids. These children are in desperate need and to make matters worse, Kids Place just recently lost their building in South Phoenix. This was a building that Jessie Jackson used for his old campaign office in South Phoenix. Ms. Lowrey provides a place where children can go after school and be safe.
