God has more than enough testimony from his creation that reveals His glory. InnerFire's story just adds to the wonder that is experienced when His divine will is unfolded for us to witness.
In a meeting some would call circumstance; two couples (Bernie and Faith Joyner, Scotty and Johnna Carroll) were placed together for an opportunity to lead a congregation in worship for a week of special services in October of 2005. An immediate kinship was felt and a calling imbedded in each of their hearts at that moment that has been sustained to this day.
Both families now reside in Murfreesboro, TN where they work and live out their ministries daily. They are all members of New Vision Baptist Church, where they are actively involved in the life of the church as lay persons, seeking to glorify God in all aspects of service.
Bernie and Faith Joyner are performing members of the group and have two small girls, Anneliese and Coralyn. Johnna Carroll carries the high part of the trio and her husband Scotty is involved in the day-to-day operation of the ministry and handles sound and speaking responsibilities at performances. Their three children, Hannah, Jacob and Andrew, make up the group, iFIRE that also travel and play a critical part in the ministry.
InnerFire makes an effort to engage their audience with the hope that they will feel more connected with the sheer awesomeness of God. Through song and testimony, the group presents the Gospel in a clear and concise manner that will urge believers toward growth and the unsaved to repentance and belief in Jesus Christ. iFIRE adds an energy and youthfulness to the concert and encourages kids to fill the “Hole in (My) Their Heart“ that can only be filled with Him.
Whether it's at church, school or an associated function, InnerFire and iFIRE are ready to fulfill their purpose by pointing young and old toward the one, true, almighty God.
