About me:
Hey, I'm J. I've been a music producer for over a decade and previously owned and operated my own professional recording studio. Due to the economy of MI and the changing times, I have gained a new position out in Weed, CA at Radio Star Studios with Sylvia Massy.
Here at Radio Star I have done some engineering work but have mainly been focused on repairs and tech duties at this time. Taking a bit of a break from the mixing portion (with the exception of my own personal customers in which I can do in my spare time). There is so much to do and repair as a tech here so it is a lot of fun! Many older pieces of gear such as tube amps and compressors, not to mention the huge boards! I'll have pics of these in due time
As for me though, I have an obsessive passion for synthesizers and all electronic equipment. I create music during every moment of my spare time and also repair, restore, and mod vintage gear.
A specter of the past - Innermuze Studios - To create Innermuze Studios, all of 2004 was spent customizing a freestanding commercial building on M-97 in Fraser-- this was NOT a basement studio! We ripped down several walls and built a solid enclosure around the ground-floor performance room. It was surrounded with thick acoustic insulation, two inches of solid cement, and a layer of wire mesh to block exterior noise and interference.... so you can be as loud as you want!
We recorded using Pro Tools, 24-Bit 96 khz digital technology.
