My name is Steven Ivanovich and I founded Innocent Man Walking. I am running across the United States to raise money and awareness for those who have been wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. Please view my website at WWW.INNOCENTMANWALKING.ORG for details. Please spread the word and help us reach our goals.TO HELP ALL PEOPLE THAT ARE STILL WRONGFULLY IMPRISON TODAY...
Here is my brief story.....
As an abused child growing up without a Father in Gary Indiana during the 60s and 70s, I saw the struggles of the people around me. I found boxing to be an outlet for the stresses of my life. I met my wife and we have four great children. Together we built a wonderful life. Then, in 1997 my life changed forever and I learned what it means to be wrongfuly accused and imprisoned. I have dedicated my life to helping those who share my experience. Steven Ivanovich
It has been a kind of Destiny that has thrown me upon this service.

Innocent Man Walking, an organization located in Valparaiso, Indiana, was founded to raise awareness of the problem of wrongful convictions in the United States. The organization provides assistance to those who are wrongfully imprisoned, particularly those cases where there is no DNA evidence - the tough cases. They also assist those who have been exonerated and released by helping them obtain counseling, jobs and educational opportunities.
A few states have addressed the problems faced by those who have been released after it is determined that they were wrongfully convicted. However, not all states are supportive and many simply release the individual without providing any assistance. In fact, twenty-eight states do not provide help, sometimes releasing people who have been incarcerated for many years, expecting them to rebuild their lives without assistance.
Innocent Man Walking is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are 100% tax deductible. Interested groups or individuals may contact Innocent Man Walking directly at 219-916-8556 or 219-916-8554. Donations may be made online by credit card or PayPal at www.Innocentmanwalking.org or at any Chase Bank - Innocent Man Walking (Indiana account). Funds will be used throughout the United States.
