The power-pop trio that is Inoke Errati (I Know Karate), emerged from the Southwestern Ontario music scene in the late days of 2003. The band revolves around a common love for music that is not only well written, but also well performed.
Jake fronts the 3 friends with clever writing, solid guitar work and unwavering vocals. Chris compliments the material with backing vocals and lays down integral bass work. Bobby passionately bangs out classic beats, creative fills, and glues it all together.
Known for their explosive live shows and catchy hooks, Inoke Errati is easy to like.
Jamie Greer of Upfront Magazine describes Inoke Errati:
"Energetic Powerpop. They're not re-writing the rule books, but then again, they're not trying to. They're just having more fun than you."
Inoke Errati has made the most of their time together. Their debut demo CD "Close Enough..." has independently moved thousands of copies in Canada with no label support.
Nov 3 2006 marks the completion of their 1st full-length album "The Wink and the Gun".
“This is what my ears have been waiting for” - Gene Champagne of Junior Achiever and formerly Killjoys.
“For what they're doing, it couldn’t get much better. For real” – Daniel Victor, Neverending White Lights.
"I thought I was safe with my black belt but sparring with ‘The Wink and the Gun’ left me dizzy and ass-kicked! It will be a long time before another indie album is a worthy opponent for Inoke Errati!" – Gavin Michael Booth, Independent Film Maker.
“I just love watching them play, they f*%king make me smile!” – Paul Doman, drummer, Ashes of Soma
