Most importantly we’re influenced by our great friends that have helped do our art. Especially Luke Flego, which we constantly pet and hug on a frequent basis. I mean, torture in our pit of metal.
But anyone that has helped in any way, be it recording or just support at the few gigs we’ve played have helped us along the most!
Insanitist is a 4-part metal band from the Bayside area of Brisbane, and also a part of the East Bay Union - and upcoming alliance amongst the bands in the Redlands and surrounding areas.
The Metal genre has stood strong through the highs and lows. Once an impossibly scary idea and now an impossibly large force. From Sabbath to Satyricon metal has evolved and changed. It is still evolving further with the creation of Insanitist.
Insanitist plans to showcase the possibilities of melody and structure in the theme inspired by the early thrash metal bands.
Soon to be gigging on a regular basis, Insanitist continues to write songs.

THIS FRIDAY! When there’s no more room in hell.....Inferno: Risen presents Zombie Night, a flesh-eating frenzy of apocalyptic proportions upstairs at The Step Inn. DJ’s Hoops,Loki and special guest NikkiDJ will be spinning tunes rockin’ enough to wake the dead, there’ll be Zombie themed cocktails, a Zombie makeup booth, Guitar Hero 3, cult Zombie movies on the plasma screen, a freakshow by 'Damaged Goods' and prizes for the best zombie outfits.
Doors are at 9pm, entry is only $6 and happy hour runs from 9-10:30pm before drinks return to their already cheap prices.
