About me:
Founded by Detroiters Jeanette Pierce and Maureen Kearns, Inside Detroit is aimed at giving everyone an opportunity to really know and appreciate Detroit.
Our mission is to educate the public about Detroit's history, culture and livability through customized tours that promote Detroit as a preferred destination to live, work and play.
Inside Detroit takes people on tours and outings unlike any other. In the summer, scheduled walking tours take place every Thursday and Saturday; and biking tours take place on Saturday and Sunday. The Insider Guide can tell you which church is the oldest, who designed the David Stott Building, where the great public art is and give you the low-down on new development.
Personalized outings are specially designed for each person or group. Whether it’s martini bars, theaters, shops or all three, Inside Detroit will create an experience that will make you feel like an Insider. The guide will not only take you to places you never knew you always wanted to go, but will introduce you to doormen, owners and regulars along the way.
Detroit has something for everyone and we'll help you find it.
