insideREVOLUTION was officially opened on December 28, 2007 but the real beginning was in September 2004 when ANTH-NET.com was started as just a place to host my various websites that I wanted to create including my Jump5 fansite - Glimpse Of Eternity. On February 2, 2006, I closed all my websites and built one dedicated to Christian Rock/Pop music. Near the end of it's 2nd year open, I decided to rename the website and asked for ideas for months. Finally, my friend Ernst put a spin on an idea that I had. I waited until December 2007 to finally make insideREVOLUTION the official name of the website. On December 30, 2007, the first staff members, my good friends Evelyn and Kevin, were added. A week and a half later, Clem was added to the staff to write album reviews. On March 12th, Ernst joined the staff to help find new and undiscovered talent for the "Featured Upcoming Artist" segment of the news.
Current features on the website include... News that is updated daily with the latest news. The releases page is update very often with the latest release dates. If you click on an album on the releases page, you'll be taken to that album's page where you will find the cover, tracklisting, purchase links, ratings, review, and more. On Tuesday, I list the new releases and any special deals or exclusives that are available. On Saturday, I list the highlights from Billboard's Top 200 albums and Top Christian albums charts. On Sunday, I list the highlights from Radio & Records Christian Rock and Christian CHR charts and what is Going For Adds on radio stations that week. Occasionally, I also post reviews of new releases. As the website grows, the opportunities to do more on the website also grows. The reviews are one example. There is also a links page featuring links to official sites, official myspaces, and fan sites.
What else is in the future of insideREVOLUTION? Only time will tell!
