About Insomniac

Insomniac started up in july '08 when myself(Neevo) and Gary decided to join forces and start a band. for a few month it was just the 2 of us jamming away in my bedroom to some Metallica songs. it got to the point where we wanted to start writing our own material. We spent less that 3 days writing the song Rough as fuck (named due how quick we wrote it and how shit it was lol). never got to the lyrics stage because we didn't have anyone to sing. Round about the same time we recorded A Night (name A Night coz we manage to write AND record the whole song in one night :O hahaha). time passed and we recruited nick on vocals but he was to live a short life in Insomniac (due to lack of commitment in the band and well... vocals lol).

not long after nicks departure we auditioned young stephen for the job of vocals. he proved to be a pretty good singer and lyricist so he was always gonna be a keeper. some time passed again when it was just the 3 of us before we hired alan on the drums. things where going good; the songs started to take form and we where going to the studio more for practices. for such a young band it has seen it's fair share of members hahaha but hey shit happens. unfortunely alan is no long our drummer and we are now looking for a new one. anyway over and out for now ladies and gents.
