CURRENT LINE-UP: MATTHEW LILES (DRUMS), ELDER OLIVEIRA (BASS), DANNY SCHNEIDER (GUITARS) PORTUGUÊS A banda Soulitary foi formada no início de 2002 pelos ex-integrantes de uma banda de death metal melódico (Matthew (d) e Andras (b)) chamada ‘Mistweaver’.
No início a banda era composta por apenas três integrantes: Benê (g), Andras (b) e Matthew (d), que se juntaram para fazer um som técnico e agressivo. Em meados do mesmo ano encontraram Felipe (g), ex ‘Thy Thunder’, assim a dupla de guitarristas da banda estava completa, faltando então um vocalista. Depois de alguns testes a banda encontrou em Franklin (v) o vocal ideal para a proposta musical da banda e começaram a compor músicas próprias.
Após algum tempo houve mudanças na formação com a entrada de Reinaldo (g) no lugar de Benê, Elder (b) no lugar de Andras e Criss Cross (v) no lugar de Frank. Passados três anos Reinaldo (g) e Felipe (g) deixam a banda.
O Soulitary faz um som com influências de muitas bandas distintas mesclando Power Metal, Thrash Metal e Metal Tradicional com vocais agressivos e tem em suas músicas próprias e nas apresentações ao vivo o seu ponto forte.
A proposta da banda é fazer um som honesto e distinto de outras bandas e que empolgue na primeira audição.
Atualmente a banda está gravando seu primeiro CD com músicas próprias para divulgação.

SOULITARY was formed by the former members of a Melodic Death Metal (Matthew (d) and Andras (b)) band called “Mistweaver” name inspired by a song by Dismember from their "Death Metal" ablum .
In the beginning the band was composed of three members: Benê (g), Andras (b) e Matthew (d), that got together to make a technical and aggressive sound. In the middle of the year they found Felipe, ex “Thy Thunder”, so that completed the guitar players, only missing a vocalist. After several tests they found Frank (v), the ideal style of singing for the band and started creating their own songs.
After a while there were changes in the band. Reinaldo (g) replaced Benê (g), Elder (b) replaced Andras and Criss Cross (v) replaced Frank (v). After three years Reinaldo (g) and Felipe (g) and Criss left the band .
Soulitary creates a sound influenced by several distinct styles mixing Power Metal, Thrash Metal, Death Metal e Traditional Heavy Metal with aggressive vocals and their strongest point is their live performance.
The band’s intention is to create an honest and distinct sound apart from other bands that makes you want to bang you head on the first listen.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
