Inspirations Dance Centre offers quality dance training in a safe and fun family atmosphere. Our professional, degreed and certified staff brings with it many years of teaching and dance experience to the Southport area. We are committed to providing a nurturing and rewarding environment for all dancers to learn and excel in the art of dance. Our studio is dedicated to improving our skills and seek out new techniques by attending conventions, workshops, and master classes so we can always bring you the best the South East has to offer in dance education. We offer dance classes for all students ages 3 to adult. Our three to five year old program includes classes carefully constructed for the young, creative mind. These classes allow our youngest students to explore dance, rhythm, and musicality through fun and entertaining activities and exercises that are designed to encourage creativity. Beginning at age six, students begin a classical training in the art of dance where they learn proper technique, placement, and classroom etiquette in a nurturing and safe environment. We offer a variety of classes for the recreational or beginning dancer as well as advanced classes for the pre-professional dancer with the goal of dancing as a career. Our instructors have taught students who have been accepted into summer and year-round schools such as The School of American Ballet, Harid Conservatory, North Carolina Dance Theatre, North Carolina School of the Arts, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, and Austin Ballet.
