About Inspired
We are a British comics small press and aim to create original comics by using our culture, upbringing and personal experiences along with inspiration from our favourite western and eastern comics.
The group formed after finishing Hi8us' 2007 Comic studio scheme (
www.stripsearch.org.uk), and wished to continue to produce comics as a collective.
The scheme allowed us to learn vital skills for creating comics from the professionals themselves (John McCrea, Hunt emerson, Andi Watson, Asia Alfasi, Laura Howell, David Gray) and use them to create an anthology to exhibit.
Thanks also to Jemima Cattel and everyone at Hi8us for running the scheme.
We want to give something back to the comics industry for giving us so much.
And so here we are.... creating British comics for all of you!

UPDATE: 2008:We're currently undergoing a couple of exciting changes. We've gained 2 new members and are planning some new printed stuff for next year. The information on this page is probably going to change slightly over the next couple of months as we start to sort the administration side of things out.
UPDATE: 2008: Birimingham International Comics Show went well! Thanks to anyone who supported us and bought our comics! We have some photos!
