Breaking The Chain	Oct 18 2008 12:23 PM Please Help Save Our Theatre. In 2001, Victor Sobchak and Andy McQuade founded a theatre company at the Lion and Unicorn in Kentish Town. Over the years we have supported young actors, new writers, up and coming directors and entertained many thousands of people with bold and original theatre. In June, 2008, George Sallis, an actor who Sobchak gave his first theatre break to, surreptitiously contacted the owners of the Lion and Unicorn and offered them large amounts of money to take over the theatre. The owners accepted. It was an offer Victor Sobchak wasn't able to match. We're fighting back. Please sign our petition and help make a strike for what is good and right in this world.
