Inspire U Records is a brand new bouncing baby business being carefully handled by Kris Searle and Richard Williams. An independent record company with the mission of giving independent artists, with real talent and song writing ability, the platform to shine.
Bringing back Brit Pop, Rock and Punk. Bringing back the real diva. Bringing back the super star. A taste of the UK in this big world of music.
Kris and his Dad, Anthony, thought of INSPIRE U whilst they were talking about people inspiring other people. Music can inspire so much in someone and for them it had inspired so much. When Kris was born the first thing his Dad did was to run to the record store and buy "Mr Blue Sky" by ELO because it was the hottest day of the year. The now perfect line "Hey you with the pretty face welcome to the human race, a celebration, mister blue sky's up there waitin' and today is the day we've waited for" means so much more than any other song. Pure Inspiration.
In the early days Inspire U was an idea for a coffee shop where people could hang out, have a drink, listen to good music, poetry, comedy... you get the idea. It was a thought that turned into an actual business but the music stuck and the coffee shop faded. As soon as Kris' music started to get a lot of attention he decided to set up the record company with his good friend and business manager Richard Williams (Executive Producer)
Kris is of course the first artist on INSPIRE U but this year the company is branching out to sign one or two more talented individuals/bands.
The music business has changed and this is the era for the independent artist. Of course none of us would turn away the attention of a big label and a big deal offer but you can keep your beliefs, image and integrity. You can have your OWN label, your OWN inspiration. YOU.
You own your music.
This is your talent and you can have it without having to give it all away.
