I've always played with tape decks, micro-cassette recorders and even had one of the first Casio SK-8s (which broke inside of two weeks, prompting me to return it for a dual-cassette deck with stereo mic inputs). It might be more accurate to say that I'm into messing around with sound more than I actually care to make what many consider "music". Don't get me wrong; there's a thrill to seeing a room full of people dancing to something you made... but I primarily intend my recordings for listening purposes, not always dancing. After years of booking and promoting concerts, jobs at a radio station, a newspaper and an independent record label... I just got to that point at which you say "I can do better than that." And then you go do it.
I finally finished up a project I have been working on closely with my homie DJ Trippin' over the past few months. The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix. All mixing, scratching, and juggling was performed by DJ Trippin'. The effort is available for high quality download by clicking the cover below!
We're now accepting submissions for our next mixtapes, please submit your info at www. coast2coastsubmissions. com for your chance to get a spot on the next mixtape!

Instigator crawled beneath the pony and began the delicate surgery, first removing the thorny thistles and then coating the belly in a green froth. the pony became concerned but was quickly soothed by the deft work... and perhaps the fluids that were pumped into its neck earlier to "bring euphoria during trauma."
by 9:15 PST the work was done and the pony
broke from the tubing constructs to run free through the lakes of fire. With a whinny and a howl, gnashing its teetch and foaming, it leapt with strange joy to celebrate the medical miracle.
the beasts and their machines pried open the chamber's stanky-ass lid and there did from within urp a deep groan that grew to a rumble... and then bellowed with great froth over the gurgling soil of humankind...

one good thing about listening to band spam is that i find nuggets and store them away... then months later on a "who is this?" stroll through my buddies i get to hear all this great music again, like yours. playing invisible blimp looooud in the lab right now... good to tune to soothe the edge off an all nighter.
