About me:

Who am I? I am that I am. Ok, I'll try a bit better than that - I am passionate about music and literature and revolutionary fire-istics. I write poetry. My chapbook 'The Moulding of Seers' is available from here http://www.shadowarcherpress.com/whiteleyviner.htm Photobucket My first book - a short collection of my poetry called The Nomad's trail is out, available from these links http://www.efpress.com/tnt.htm www.amazon.co.uk/Nomads-Trail-Petra-Whiteley/dp/0956037208 I also have the priviledge to work with Steve Viner (superb visual artist) on a children's book with more projects lined up to work on...such as graphic novels. Another project of mine is a dystopic novel. My poetry had appeared in Osprey, Seven Circle Press (and also in their printed anthology CircleShow vol.1), The Gloom Cupboard, Eviscerator Heaven, Apt, Eleutheria, Counterexamplepoetics and Unlikely Stories 2.0, Paraphilia, the Recusant, Fissure, The Plebian Rag, The Clockwise Cat and has been featured in Outside Writers Collective etc... articles on political/current issues, essays on history and methods of poetry & literature movements, current poets and lyricists had appeared & will appear in The Glasgow Review, Osprey, Eviscerator Heaven. Eleutheria has also published my reviews and articles, more poetry is also forthcoming in Full of Crow, excerpt of my dystopic novel (work in progress) is to appear in Parahilia. I write in English although it is my second language. My native language is Czech. Having said that, I've been living in UK since 1993 and I think in English and am nearly forgetting my own language. I consider myself of no nationality, I love places and people, not labels and no artificial divisions, paid by blood. My fields of interests are wider to list them all, and I don't want to go on and on. I love paintings. I breathe music and if I don't read I loose my sanity. If I am an addict, that is my drug. I'd like to live in a world where the economic and socio-political system is not based on unequality. ..

I am melancholic, but I love living at the same time. A strange combination? Maybe. Who am I to say... I am also a mother.

Who I'd like to meet:

Many many many people. I'll keep this option open as much as possible...for 'real life' and online alike. I don't care for numbers though, I care for words, so don't just ask to add me for your friend's list growth. Many artists, those who are involved in politics, or artists creating for the love of their art, free thinkers, I'll close it with Camus's quote: 'By rebelling against the absurd conditions that waste life - whether they be social, political or personal - the rebel shows solidarity with other persons and encourages the struggle for a more human world.' Please respect my freedom FROM religion, I don't really appreciate preachy comments, comments mentioning a certain imaginary friend you may think real, but I do not, and I would certainly prefer to be free of that strange haunting of the 'complete, perfect' Being, if you need to believe, your choice, but please show some respect that I do not. I'm sorta getting tired of it being stuffed down my throat. Cheers. In short, I'd love to be meeting all the expected and unexpected people in my life in a meaningful way with my heart and mind open. I don't wanna waste it.

Hi, Petra, good to hear from you! I'm doing good but little exhausted, the moving and renovations is now set and done, all I need now is rest. These past few month was all about moving, from Jakarta to Bali, then move again to another different house in Bali, ah..it was tiring, however, when I look at the house now, it was all worth it. I'm flying to Jkt tomorrow, look for to seeing my precious son! I miss him so much! :-)
Anyhow enough about me, how about you? write me when you have time, love to know what's going on, my drearest... ~Much love to you, always xoxo

btw it was 7.3, richter scale, here in Jakarta, where I live...I feel the whole house shaky, went outside, saw my car moving in front of the garage, my driver had to stop the car! Yes, it was that big, I can't imagine the people who lost their home and lives at that very same moment. I feel very lucky...and fortunate to be able to breathe still and saw my son after school that day. Take care, my friend...I'm flying to Bali tomorrow, keep in touch 'k!
