關於 JEn friends

Jen & Friends is literally what this site is about, Jen having a creative laugh with her mates and out of this the band 1-STOP-EXPERIENCE was born. 1-STOP-EXPERIENCE is INTELLIGENT-SKA creating topical concepts using SKA & REGGAE as a backdrop to express each perception: This site is dedicated to new ska mixed with old ska, dub reggae, deep dub reggae, latin, pop, Jazz and blues. Songs on this site will have been penned by Jennie Matthias and friends. Friends on this site will consist of writers, musicians, programmers, artists, film makers, photographers, producers and of course the people who are inspired by our music and are offering their friendship; if you are reading this, then that's you and may we say that it is an honour to have you involved. Jen and Friends will be adding to this site on a regular basis and hope you enjoy the journey with us. Tracks currently up are collaborations with the following artists: JENNIE & DAVE BARKER with THE CRABS CORPORATION - JENNIE & SKIP MCDONALD - JENNIE & ADRIAN SHERWOOD - JENNIE & PAGET KING there will be many more after friends added to this list as and when we put the tracks up: Please listen out for NICK WELSH & CRISPY HORNS on some of the current tracks. we will also be introducing STEVE (CHALKY) WHITE into the band and there will be others. The main people on the site at the moment are as follows: CHICO CHAGAS keyboards and accordian: SKIP MCDONALD lead guitars & backing vocals: PAGET KING bass & keyboards: JENNIE MATTHIAS lead vocals and concepts: Main members I have spoken of come under the umbrella of 1-STOP- EXPERIENCE and are currently recording their first album. 1-STOP-EXPERIENCE is a working band that started performing for the public in August. They have been taking bookings and have already graced many a radio station...this they intend to step up from August onwards: NON MUSICAL Official 1-STOP members are as follows: COLIN ROSS on film and video: JULES ANNAN of (CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY) on still amd moving images: GUSTAVO VISÓN of (CRABS CORPORATION) Backdrop & caricature artiste: AL CAMPBELL - logo designer: ALL THE ABOVE have helped shape and create the 1-STOP-EXPERIENCE sound and image but there will be more added to the 1-STOP-EXPERIENCE as we progress with our journey. No joking, I must confess that I'm often deceived by the actual musical production, Sometimes I feel like a man of the past with the music I listen to (old ska, early roots, 70's roots and 2Tone) but when I listen to this cd I've got still hope in the future concerning the vibes. Now I'm really impatient to listen to more. One more time thanx a lot for this vibes big respect to the possee and if you allow me, massive and endless love n respect to Jennie, and you know what ? Reddd is my fav color.
