About me: Intellivision is one of the most recognized brands in video games. In the 1980s, over 3 1/2 million Intellivision game consoles were sold worldwide and earned millions of loyal, lifelong fans.
Today, Intellivision Productions, Inc. - founded by former Intellivision programmers - celebrates the impact of video games on pop culture, bringing the fun, images and sounds of Intellivision to new gaming systems, music and fashion.
With over 4 million computer, console and direct-to-TV collections sold since 2000, more people are playing Intellivision today than ever before!
Latest news on the intellivisionlives.com web site:
Three of the most popular Intellivision games are now available in special 3G (third generation) editions for cell phones: Astrosmash, Shark! Shark! and Night Stalker. You can order now by texting astrosmash, sharkshark or nightstalker to 74415. Each game costs just $5.99. Once you download it, you own it. If you need to erase it to free up space on your phone at some point, you can download it again later for free.
NOTICE: DUE TO OVERWHELMING TRAFFIC, THE SERVERS FOR THESE GAMES ARE CURRENTLY DOWN AND ARE BEING UPGRADED. AS SOON AS THE GAMES ARE AVAILABLE AGAIN FOR DOWNLOADING, WE'LL ANNOUNCE IT HERE.

Upcoming Events:
Count on a number of Blue Sky Rangers being at the 2008 Classic Gaming Expo. They haven't set a time or place yet (probably late July, early August; probably Las Vegas) but Intellivision Productions has been a sponsor of the CGE since 1998 and we've been there in the Intellivision booth each year. This is the must-attend event for fans of classic arcade and video games. You can learn more about it on the CGE MySpace page.
Who I'd like to meet: Everyone who grew up with Intellivision, and everyone who plays it today!
I take it that the ship has sailed on Intellivision Lives for the DS ever appearing in the retail space? (when you see some of the lame shovelware on the BestBuy shelves, you have to lament this wasted opportunity on the part of publishers).
Is there any hope for an iteration on Virtual Console or WiiWare? It might be a stretch, but I can see the nunchuck control stick acting as a virtual keypad, ala Trauma Center's control scheme. The GameCube version is certainly still around, but given its minor flaws and missing games, I think there's some justification for pursuing a Wii specific solution.
thanks for accept the add :D Intellivision is probably one of the greatest consoles of all time! I want one, but in my country is so hard to find vintage consoles, specially a intellivision :/
Just got 45,000 and up to level 9 on Burgertime. Intellivision is great, but the controllers are 100% garbage. Had to buy joystick clip ons to even use then. Worst part is the buttons aren't spring loaded. Where can I get some good joysticks for Intellvision II??? THESE THINGS SUCK!
I think the whole point is that it does exist but we can't buy it. That makes intellivision lives! for the DS very sheek indeed. Only the well connected can play it. I'm putting my money on an emulator being released before this thing anyway.
Oh my god you guys, the more and more I see people playing the DS version of Intellivision Lives! the more I must have it! Name your price! I'll take a prototype, no problem!
