Intense lanzó su primer álbum "Second Sight" a mitad del 2004 a través del sello Italy’s Underground Symphony con licencia de NTS Records para Francia únicamente y Century Media en Estados Unidos.
En el 2004 realizaron 2 shows en Alemania antes de tocar en el Metal Bash cerca de Hamburgo. Ese mismo año tocaron en el escenario principal abriendo el Bloodstock Festival del día sábado para bandas como Primal Fear, Evergrey, Sonata Arctica y Children of Bodom, entre otras. La banda fue aclamada por el público y los críticos por su actuación en vivo.
El primer video de la banda (del tema "War of Angels") fue incluído en el DVD del Festival Bloodstock "The New Blood of British Metal". El mismo comenzó a ser mostrado regularmente en Scuzz TV. A raíz del éxito del Bloodstock, la banda ganó la encuesta online como banda elegida por los fans para tocar en el Bloodstock Open Air 2005; en el proceso Intense le ganó a 11 bandas.
En el 2005 continúan tocando en festivales como el Day Festival en Birmingham (Reino Unido), con bandas como Sonata Arctica, Finntroll, Norther, Epica y Dragonland. También participan en el primer Dominion Festival en Hull junto a Skyclad, Human Fortress, así como en el Festival alemán Dong Open Air con Skyclad, Elvenking, etc.
Intense fue la banda inglesa en entrar en el concurso Heavy Metal Eurovision quedando séptimos entre 41 participantes.
A pesar de la promoción limitada de "Second Sight" fueron aclamados por la crítica de todo el mundo y muchas de ellas se pueden encontrar en el Sitio Oficial de la banda.
En el 2006 Intense entrna a los Estudios Thin Ice para grabar el segundo disco con Karl Groom de Threshold como productor, Richard West para manejar la producción vocal y de teclados. El álbum fue masterizado en los Estudios Fine Tune de Holanda y el arte de portada por Mattias Norén quien ha trabajado con Evergrey, Jag Panzer, Kamelot, Epica y más.
El grupo tocó en la fiesta de presentación del primer Prog Power UK junto a los amigos Power Quest y Orphaned Land (Israel). Luego de un corto tour por Alemania, Holanda y Bélgica firman un contrato con el sello Napalm Records en Junio del 2007, siendo la primer banda del Reino Unido en hacerlo.
"As Our Army Grows" fue lanzado en Marzo/Abril y muestra como la banda ha madurado desde "Second Sight" tanto en las letras como en la música. El video del tema "Fear is Not Enough" es grabado en el 2007 y ha sido destacado en varios comentarios de revistas como Rock Hard de Alemania. La campaña de promoción de Napalm hizo que la banda tenga más de 100 entrevistas en revistas y medios alrededor del mundo. Continúan tocando en shows con Dream Evil, Onslaught, Leatherwolf y Skyclad entre otros, y en el Headbanger's Open Air en Alemania.
Actualmente la banda planea continuar con más shows en vivo durante 2008 y comenzar a escribir el próximo álbum.
