About me: From the minds and records of Intensified,
selectors Kyle{m}, and Darren Saxton bring you the next chapter in the finest 60's and 70's Black sounds. We strive hard to bring the most authentic, yet modern presentation of classic Reggae, Rocksteady, Motown, and Northern Soul.
We've been hard pressed to find other nights making the same clamour in the same style. We have a specific vision and see it as our duty to bring this gig to the masses. We aim to please and thank everyone that helps us in doing so. Come out, raise a glass, and tighten up, again! Cheers. . .Ten Commandemnts.
I also just got back from Jamaica with - a whole heap of incredible new ska, rocksteady and early reggae 45s on labels like Beverley's, Top Deck, Tuneico, Treasure Isle and more! - a selection of Jamaican vinyl LPs we've never had in the store before! We've also got a new batch of Roots Reggae titles (not yet available on the regular site) in the CD Sale, and a huge selection of clearance 45s. You can only find out about the Secret Sales by signing up for the Stubborn Records e-mail list at http://www.versioncity.com/lists

For those who haven't heard, we'll be in the studio these next few months to record a new album with the renowned reggae singer, Eyon Irie. After that it's summer shows and writing songs for the next Orbits album!
In the meantime, if you don't have our self-titled cd yet, you can still pick it up on CD Baby and Itunes.
And swing by our myspace site to check out our new videos!
Good day! Just a quick note to let you know about our next show! This will be our only one for a while, since we'll be taking some time off to record another album with Eyon Irie. Come say hi to our newest members - Paul on drums and Carlo on saxophone.
Make it a full weekend by checking out Culture Yard's Bob Marley Days on the 6th and 7th!
And for anyone who hasn't yet heard our album, you can still get it on our website at www. georgetownorbits. com, or by clicking here:
