Intent Productions is a recording studio on the east shore of Kootenay lake near Nelson BC Canada. Our services include recording, mixing, post production, and video editing. We are also a record label.
The studio consists of a control room, two tracking rooms and a video editing/music production suite. A lounge/rec room is in the making. Our board is a SSL 4040E and we track to a Pro Tools HD3 system for tracking and editing. We also have Logic Audio and Nuendo for tracking/editing. Our microphones include a U87, AKG451's etc. For video editing/creation we have two video editing workstations (Final Cut Pro, Newtek Video toaster, Maya). For music production we have an Alesis Andromeda, Yamaha Motif, Roland Vdrums, Yamaha drum kit and various guitars and drums.
Accommodations can also be provided for clients.
The Kootenay's is a range of mountains about 8hrs east of Vancouver. The studio is located in a small community of 300 people called Kootenay Bay. The Kootenays are known for a relaxed vibe, clean air/water, and the numerous outdoor recreational activities.
