Interactive Loverz is a project-duo founded on June 2007 in Corfu by Dimitris(DJ Jimmy boy) and Labrini(guitar). Both band members are students at the Ionian university, Dimitris at the Audio&Visual arts department and Labrini at the Music department. That's actually where they met, almost three years ago. Dimitris, born in Kavala, has worked as a DJ and Labrini, born in Drama, has been playing with rock bands as a guitarist/drummer. While getting to know one another, each intreated the other's musical interest, thus finding a common ground in their musical tastes. So they decided to blend one's hip-hop and electronic influences with the other's rock orientation. They both share interest and occupy with production, composition and video art and with these means they try to bring Interactive Loverz to a level further from simply live gigs. The project is experimental and is based mostly on live act, where the interaction is audible and visible. Interactive loverz first gig was at the Dramaica Youth Festival 2007 as the opening act for the second day of the fest, where they received applauding comments. Over the past year, they have also played at Earthdance festival 2007 and Pelekas Art Festival(PAF) 2008, both in Corfu.
