The band International Generation started evolving approximately two years ago. It began when Natty Faithful, a lead vocalist; and IG, another lead vocalist, met in Nyack, New York- where the songs of songs are born. Two Rastafarians, who are musically inclined began the righteous movement were then blessed with open mic sessions at a popular local venue. Joe the drummer, a social scenester sparked the joint by uniting others with peaceful jams. Jay the bass player later on joined as well through friends of the band. Sheik Ali-X aka the Peace Ambassador took role as the lead guitarist layed down the roots of it all, he is also introduced by a good friend. Wayne aka Chappy the saxophone player met the band through the man Sheik Ali-X aka Peace Ambassador. The band has performed with the likes of Cedric Brooks and Kevin Bachelor of the Skatalites. They have played in front of many audiences in New York, Philadelphia, and many other places. The goal of International Generation is to deliver consciousness through their music promoting acceptance of the people of all nations because we after all are Good creations and the world that we live in is ours to keep.
