International Justice Mission is an international human rights agency that rescues victims of violence, sexual exploitation, slavery and oppression. Based on referrals of abuse received from relief and development organizations, IJM conducts professional investigations of the abuses and mobilizes intervention on behalf of the victims.
IJM currently operates in thirteen countries around the world, focusing casework primarily on issues of bonded labor, forced prostitution, land seizure, police brutality, and illegal imprisonment.

I am just finishing Terrify No More. This has to be one of the most powerful and inspiring books I've ever read about what courageous, dedicated Christians are doing to help the oppressed in this world. Not only are you rescuing the victims, you are changing lives and whole communities --- all with an unabashed reliance on a merciful, powerful and loving God. What an inspiration you are. My dad, who has just gone home to be with Jesus was also a crusader for justice all his life. In his memory, we are asking for donations to IJM in lieu of flowers, etc. You will also very soon be receiving funding from me personally; you already have my prayer support. Be blessed.

I saw Sara Groves in concert in September and she was talking about IJM...I had seen your posters and stuff at other concerts, but Sara talked about IJM passionately, and I just had to find out about it, so I went up to her after the concert and ask for titles of the two books she talked about....I'm currently reading "Terrify No More"...it's taking so long because I'm balancing reading it with my college classes...I can't wait to finish this book and get "The Good News About Injustice".....
Ever since I've started reading "Terrify No More", I've been praying for God to guide and bless this very much needed ministry and organization, nightly....
