a surprising CD by a German musician living in Utrecht, containing 35 minutes of very minimal, hissy and adventurous popsongs. Her influences range from experimental analogue electronics to mid-nineties lo-fi, with melodic sound-sketches put together as an audio-notebook. For fans of f.i. Colleen, Lau Nau, Mt. Eerie, Vollmar, Iditarod, Machinefabriek, Tara Jane O'Neil, or anything on Morc Records really.
Just a quick note to let you know that our debut EP, “Willow Pattern Songs” is now available as a digital download from Amazon (UK, US, Germany etc.), and other good mp3 stores, as well as a limited edition CD from Rough Trade, HMV ( UK and Japan) and elsewhere.
