Sounds Like
the sound of ancient black magic emanating from the true bearer of life, the timeworn god, a despicable intestinal animal, a envious and venomous being, rejected from galaxies and weak in its own nature. the sounds of his teeth shattering as he pushes out more beings, planets, birds and lifeless plants from his all pregnant non mighty infested cunt. A deserter of the golden land, of da gadda da vida and now in a world of shit creating a legion of assholes, and getting a stiff one from it.
In The Arms Of War was formed in early 05’ under the name With Beauty Comes Blood when Ben & Uriel Arellano moved from Las Vegas NV to the Dallas/Denton TX area. At their high school they met Jared McElhany and started playing as a three piece. Shortly after they added a temporary bassist Mike Mizurra and played their first show at a Halloween party. After playing some shows they met current vocalist Ryan Hicks, while going through 2 more temporary bassist, Ernie Leyva & Chris Rogers till they met current bassist Matt Bouley. Playing together for about a year Jared left the band so Nick Leyva filled in on guitar. In February of 07’ they released their first self-titled 6 song EP with Brandon Vanderford at F.S Studios. After a few short tours and sharing the stage with some of today’s hottest Metal acts such as Between The Buried & Me, Animosity, As Blood Runs Black, Cephalic Carnage, (up-and-comers) Hyperion & amongst others, Nick Leyva left the band and Mold Company’s Marty Robbins replaced him on 2nd guitar. After a lot more shows Ben moved to Austin while the rest of the band was in Denton. Playing shows in Austin and Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and with a new line up they recorded an 2nd EP in August of 08' with Jeff Stack titled Morgue Worm, recorded half in Austin and half in Denton by Ben on drums and Uriel on both guitars & bass. Therefor it was an all Instrumental EP but will add vocal tracks from current vocalist Ryan Hicks. Morgue Worm was self released and produced on Sep. 16th 2008 The entire EP is featured on the myspace music player.
In The Arms Of War currently plays a mixture of "Death Metal" elements with a fusion of & mixtures of Psychedelic Rock. Check out Ben & Uriel's side project in South America called Melophobia, currently displayed on top friends list.
*Currently the band is on a hiatus status due to Ben and Uriel currently living in Buenos Aires Argentina.
