Self preservation (to a degree), the city (warts and all), the country (gimme death over suburbia), music (rock, roll, punk funk n soul etc etc), operating turntables where n whenever I can, people who excite me, the street (not Corrie!) "la beaute' est sur la rue", the Beats, popcorn, snakebite n black, A.F.C. socialising and solitude, looking after people as best I can in work and play, biting off more than I can chew, breaking the ice, breaking on thro', breaking my limits, seeing the world with a set of fresh eyes or through the eyes of others (oh lord u know it ain't easy but oh how I try)
.....oh and kleptomania.

My maker, eventually, with my head held high n a wild card up my sleeve!
Myself, right there, just before I made some of my most memorable and spectacular fuck-ups just to ask, "are you sure this is what you really want?" (oh the useless guiding hand of hindsight).... but as The Buttholes once said, "it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't done". Anyone who comes along on the road that is my life, especially those with a tale to tell and a soul to sell..... also those with a bar tab, some spare pharmacuticals, a tank of fuel and a love of sharing!!!

Issue
2 of Thee Big Black is out now and free to download. In this issue we
have live reviews of Sunn 0))) and Alice In Chains, advice for bands on
managing their online fan base, tales of the apocalypse, Victorian
villainy and much more. Click here to download a
free PDF copy
We are always looking for
people who would like to contribute to the 'zine, if you would like to
tell us about something or get involved either message us at our our Myspace
profile or visit our forum
and get involved there.
To download a free PDF copy from Rapidshare either follow this link or click on the image below . . .
This is quite a large file (the PDF is print quality, so if you wanted to print out a copy rather than stare at a computer screen you can. The 'zine will print at 300dpi and pages are sized at A5) so it may take a few minutes to download.
We are already working on the next issue (due out in January) and are always looking for contributors. If you would like to contribute to TBB or think that there is something we should know about please get in touch with us either here or, better still, visit our forum, sign up and get involved there. TBB is not just about music, we want to hear about anything underground, alternative or left of center.
We are finally getting the first issue of our 'zine sorted and have setup a forum to go with it's impending release in December.
Both the 'zine and the forum are for more than just music (although that is a big part of what we're about), we will be covering art, film, books, in fact pretty much anything and everything that is underground or alternative.
Have a look at the forum, sign up, start promoting your projects, band, writing, etc and join in the discussions.
To make life easier Thee Big Black now have a Facebook page. Follow the link and add our page to get regular updates about shows, club nights and maybe even a 'zine . . . .
Just a reminder that we have these events coming up . . .
